Empowering Women in Water i forbindelse med IWA2022

Last week I had the privilege to participate in World Water Congress and Exhibition along with World Water Camp 2022 in Copenhagen Denmark. It’s been a privilege to meet so many young and senior water professionals committed to diverse water issues from all around the world.

It was a week full of excitement, new learning opportunities and great talks during the technical session, workshop, and exhibition.

I would like to highlight two takeaways from the Groundwater Forum, one about Aquifer Replenishing using wastewater and second on how to integrate groundwater quality. These sessions have been eye opening, and I’m inspired as a young water professional.

Last but not least I would like to thank ATV JORD OG GRUNDVAND for funding my trip and affording me this opportunity as an initiative in empowering women in water.  This experience has been empowering indeed and I feel more motivated to tackle water challenges in my home country, this will not only impact my career journey but also the water works in Tanzania.
